Please take a moment to become familiar with our terms of service.

Orders
Orders can be placed online, by email, and by phone. Regardless of how you order, order early!
Order confirmation. Make sure that your order is confirmed by us. We will reach out to accept your order and clarify any questions that we both may have.

Sold out weeks. This occurs when we have hit the max capacity for orders for a school &/or a week. If you try to place an order once we have reached capacity for your desired week then we will offer you a pre-made if one is available. If none are available to suit you, then we will return your deposit and provide some names of other mum makers in the area that may have capacity.

Ask! Seriously, if you want something ask us. Often we can add or subtract something easily IF we know in advance.

Communication
Communication is key when it comes to an eclectic, crazy homecoming mum. Email us at mum@crazymumlady.com if you have any questions about our products and process. Our website tries to answer common questions, but do not hesitate to call, text or email us (210) 413-4622.

Voicemail and Text are necessary tools, especially during the height of the mum season. We strive to return communications within 24 hours. If you are open to an evening return phone call, please let us know what the latest we can call would be. Reminder, we work late into the night and early mornings.

Appointments & Reservations
Reservations. You can reserve your spot for a homecoming creation with a $50.00 fee. We suggest doing this before the start of the school year. This is perfect for people that know they want us to create something for them, but aren't sure what. The $50.00 reservation fee is applied toward your deposit at the time your order is placed. If an order is not placed then the reservation fee is forfeited. Orders must be placed 2-weeks before homecoming date to avoid rush fees.

Appointments for design sessions are available by phone and in person. The time allowed will depend on the complexity of the creation being requested. We see appointments often for Seniors, but are also a good idea for underclassmen wanting a custom mum design. These appointments are designed to accommodate the needs of folks that are looking for something extra crazy &/or extra bougie. Group orders also fall into this category as well.

Specialty pricing will be charged based on the custom work needed. Email us at mum@crazymumlady.com to request an appointment. Larger custom mums are limited each season. If you think you will need something custom, please reach out as soon as possible.

Finances
Payment Methods. We accept Cash, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal.
​
Deposit. A 50% deposit is due when the order is placed with the balance due at pick up. If you reserved a spot with us with a $50.00 reservation fee, it will be applied toward this deposit.
​
Rush orders. We add a fee to orders placed 14 or fewer days from homecoming. Rush order fees are per item and based on the size of the mum. This fee is paid upfront and starts at $40.00 per item. The rush order fee is in addition to the cost of the item.
​
Sales Tax. Our products are subject to Texas Sales Tax. If you or your organization are tax-exempt, please reach out before ordering to make sure we treat your order accordingly.
​
Custom and Theme creations. All sales are FINAL for custom and theme Homecoming designs. No refunds are available.
​
Shipping & Handling. If we agree to ship a creation to you, the shipping and handling costs will be added to the cost of the creation. Payment for the creation and shipping-related expenses must be paid for in full prior to shipping.

Changes & Disruptions
COVID impact disclosure. – The residual impacts from the Covid pandemic continue to cause havoc on our supply chain. While we strive to bring the best quality products, some compromises may need to be made due to product quality and availability. We appreciate your understanding.

Homecoming celebrations that are canceled or delayed. We will work with customers to accommodate situations as best as we can. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please be mindful that the design process may have been started by the time you notify us of any event changes.
​
The break-up/switch-up. We know that crazy happens. We will try to accommodate with as little monetary impact as possible to you. The sooner that you can let us know that a name needs to be changed or removed the better it will be for you.

Cancelations
Cancelations. We are a small custom homecoming shop. We often book up 2-3 weeks ahead of homecoming. The cancelation policy ultimately depends on our capacity and becomes less lenient the closer we get to homecoming.

Once an order is placed you have 24 hours to cancel your order. Please make sure that we respond and confirm that your order is indeed canceled. We get busy and work late at night and we don’t want a cancelation to be overlooked.
​
An order may be canceled up to 10 days before homecoming with a $50.00 penalty. Cancelations within 10 days of homecoming are not accepted. Please let us know as soon as you know that you need to cancel your order. (Text is fastest 210-413-4622)

Pick-Up, Delivery and Shipping
Pick-Ups. Homecoming creations are picked up in the Leon Springs area of San Antonio on Wednesdays and Thursdays of homecoming the week. If other arrangements are needed, reach out ahead of time to see if we can accommodate alternate days &/or times for pickup. Local pick up can be arranged by emailing mum@crazymumlady.com or by calling or texting us at 210-413-4622

One-off, in-person delivery/pick ups are sometimes available for areas like the Rio Grande Valley and the Corpus Christi/Rockport areas. Ask when ordering.
​
Inspection. Please inspect your products at the time of pickup/ delivery. Notify the Crazy Mum Lady at the time of pickup of any issues with your order.
​
Shipping. We can ship! The heart of our business is picked up locally, but we can ship if our capacity allows. Please reach out before ordering to make sure we can accommodate your shipping request. The full cost of the creation along with the added shipping & handling expenses must be paid in full prior to shipment.
​
Shipping requests are sent out via FED-EX or UPS.
We are NOT responsible for shipper loss. If the shipping carrier delays misplaces or damages a package the claim must be filed with the shipping carrier. We are not responsible for damages by the shipping carrier.
On shipped items, please notify the Crazy Mum Lady within 24 hours of any issues related to our work. Again, damage caused by the shipper must be resolved directly with them.

Miscellaneous
School &/or organization rules relating to Homecoming attire. Some schools & organizations limit or restrict items that can be placed on a homecoming mum or garter. Please let us know if your school has any limitations/restrictions relating to homecoming attire that would impact our creative process. (Examples might include bells, the length or width of the creation, not allowing battery-related items such as lights or noise makers, or not having glitter or metallic ribbons, etc.)
